In the following video, Fool contributor Dan Caplinger discusses some advantages accruing to Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW ) as the world's largest silver streaming company.
Dan explains how Silver Wheaton's experience in providing financing to mining partners helps build credibility in negotiating future agreements that may benefit investors beyond the recent price declines in silver. He also believes that Silver Wheaton's existing partner network, consisting of large mining companies such as Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX ) and Goldcorp (NYSE: GG ) , is a competitive advantage.
Finally, Dan shares how a recent streaming agreement for gold with Brazilian mining giant Vale (NYSE: VALE ) provides diversification for the future.
If you're looking for a company whose success is determined by the metals market, but without involving itself in the risks of physically mining the metals, then Silver Wheaton provides a unique play on the future of silver. SLW chooses to finance the mining of silver; it has grown sales and net income every year since 2008, and also has increased competitive advantages over its limited peer group. Top 10 Growth Companies To Invest In 2015: Regal Entertainment Group(RGC)

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Sean Williams]
The prospect of this penalty sent shockwaves throughout the large business sector and prompted job and hour cuts across a number of industries. Regal Entertainment (NYSE: RGC ) , the nation's largest movie theater operator, slashed weekly hours for thousands of its employees and squarely blamed Obamacare for the cuts. Medical device maker Stryker (NYSE: SYK ) took a slightly different approach but delivered similar end results. Because of the 2.3% medical device excise tax, which will be used to help fund the Medicaid expansion, Stryker shed 5% of its workforce in order to save more than $100 million annually.
- [By Sean Williams]
Other companies, specifically in the service industry -- which pay a broad spectrum of wages -- have also been cutting jobs and/or hours in direct response to Obamacare. Movie theater chain Regal Entertainment (NYSE: RGC ) cut thousands of workers' weekly hours to 29 or less in order to exempt itself from having to provide them health care. Companies in excess of 50 employees are required to provide access to health care for their employees and could be asked to step in and help if the cost of health care exceeds 9.5% of that employee's income. Sure, a worker whose hours are cut back from 40 to 25 may be eligible for bigger health care subsidies, but at what cost? They've just lost 15 hours of weekly pay on a regular basis as a direct cause of Obamacare's upcoming implementation, which will affect countless other aspects of their life beyond health care!

I think the whole thing about the 2% extra payroll tax wasn't helpful. Don't forget, in America, the average household makes $50,000. 2% is $1,000 a year. I mean, after tax, that's a hurt in their pocketbook. Gas prices have been going up. I -- and you've seen the retailer results, the Walmarts, Kmarts, Targets, Costcos of the world had, had results less than they expected, not very good. So it's weak. I don't think it's -- I'm not ready to declare it's a permanent decline or a second dip on therecessionthere, but it's a little nervous as far as what's going on up there.

Church & Dwight Co.'s(CHD) third-quarter earnings rose 15% as the maker of Arm & Hammer products and Trojan condoms boosted its sales thanks to last year’s acquisition of the Avid gummy vitamin business. Deutsche Bank announced on Tuesday that it has upgraded Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (CHD).
The firm has raised its rating on CHD from “Hold” to “Buy,” and has increased the company’s price target from $64 to $66. This price target suggests an 8% upside from the stock’s current price of $60.36.
Analyst Bill Schmitz commented: “Sustainable growth algorithm of 3-4% organic sales, high single digit EBIT and double-digit EPS growth intact, with upside from fast growing Avid vitamin business joining the base and highly flexible balance sheet enabling further M&A or more aggressive cash flow redeployment providing upside to total shareholder return profile.
“With shares underperforming the group and market over the last year and tempered Street outlook for CY14 versus long-term trend, we see an opportunistic window to own the shares at a reasonable entry point.”
Church & Dwight shares were mostly flat during pre-market trading Tuesday. The stock is up 13% YTD.
