Zimmer, the founder, chairman and the public face of the discount apparel chain, has been terminated, according to a brief statement from the company.

Men's Wearhouse gave no reason for Zimmer's departure ��which surfaced on Wednesday, just hours before the company postponed its annual shareholders meeting. A company spokesman declined comment but said Zimmer's departure won't affect operations.

Ulta Salon Cosmetics & Fragrance (ULTA) shares plunged 15.7% to $99.50 after the beauty products retailer�� quarterly results and outlook fell short of Wall Street expectations. The company reported third-quarter earnings of 70 cents a share on revenue of $618.9 million. Results included a severance charge of 2 cents a share. Analysts were expecting 74 cents a share on revenue of $622.1 million. For the current quarter, Ulta expects to earn between $1.07 a share to $1.10 a share on revenue of $853 million to $867 million. Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS ) is diving further into social media with a new�Pinterest app for its Nook Media devices.
The company said in a press release today that the Pinterest app is now available for download on the�Nook HD, Nook HD+, Nook Tablet, and Nook Color. The app will come preloaded on new devices, along with a Twitter app and a new Facebook app. Barnes & Noble says Pinterest has long been one of its most requested apps.
